Please note a change to the Varicella vaccination as required for application and admission into the BSN program at MSU. This pertains to all individuals applying in 2014 and beyond:

Varicella information

In the past we have accepted the following for this requirement:
a. Varicella vaccination series
b. Positive lab titer
c. Signed statement from individual acknowledging having chicken pox or shingles (exposure)

The new requirements are now as follows:
a. Varicella vaccination series
b. Positive lab titer

We will allow individuals who have not received the new requirements to apply by January 31, 2014- but know they will be responsible for obtaining the new requirements prior to starting courses June 9, 2014.
