Introducing Dr. Brandon Decker

New Director named for Distance Programs and Policy

Missouri State Outreach is excited to announce a new team member. Dr. Brandon Decker took over the role of Director, Distance Programs and Policy on February 14.

Brandon recently completed his PhD in Education Sciences from the University of Kentucky. He comes to Outreach from MSU’s English Language Institute, where he was a Senior Academic Specialist. During his time working with students studying abroad, he visited nineteen countries and lived in six.

He is an experienced online educator and instructional designer. His research focuses on distance delivery and innovation in online education. Brandon is looking forward to leading the future of distance learning at Missouri State University.

About Missouri State’s Distance Programs

Missouri State Online offers 20 undergraduate, 20 graduate, and two doctoral degrees, as well as minors and certificates, all 100% online. Our online programs are fully accredited. Courses are developed and taught by full-time faculty who deliver the same curriculum online as they do on campus. Our faculty are leaders in their field of study and will share their real-world knowledge with their students.
