During the spring 2021 semester, the university announced the building housing the Student Exhibition Center would be sold as we transitioned to a newly acquired exhibition space located at 326 N. Boonville. We closed out our time at the SEC, also known as the old Sorosis house with four student focused exhibitions.
Annual Foundations Exhibition
January 25 – February 10
The Annual Foundations Exhibition featured a well-rounded collection of work from the department’s foundations courses demonstrating student’s understanding of various artistic concepts in two and three-dimensional design, as well as drawing.
Metals + Jewelry / Photography Exhibition
February 24 – March 9
The biennial Metals + Jewelry / Photography show exhibited a dynamic collection of metals + jewelry and photography student work ranging from all levels of undergraduate study.
Sculpture / Drawing + Painting Exhibition

The Sculpture / Drawing + Painting Exhibition featured an strong display of sculpture and drawing + painting work from students studying at all levels in the department’s undergraduate courses.
BFA in Design Exhibition

Every semester the Student Exhibition Center is pleased to host an exhibition of work by graduating students from the Department of Art and Design. The spring exhibition showcases the talent and skill of students who have spent years developing their design practice that will carry them into their professional careers.
