Department Says Farewell to Mark Rushefsky

June 20, 2014 by George Connor

Joining the political science department twenty eight years ago, Dr. Mark Rushefsky retired in May, 2014. Mark leaves behind a distinguished record of teaching, research, and service. More importantly, Mark leaves a legacy of collegiality and professionalism that will be greatly missed. Although officially retired, Mark will continue to teach Health Policy and lend his expertise to future E-MHA cohorts. We wish him well as he moves to emeritus status and takes on the role of full-time grandpa. A farewell dinner was held a Mille’s Turn of the Century Cafe in downtown Springfield.
