While we are, of course, disappointed in Missouri State University President’s Smart’s showing, I’m sure Clif takes solace in the fact that he was ultimately defeated by a fellow PLS major.

But when all is said and done, Captain Springfield pales by comparison to the other Matt Simpson news that was reported earlier this week – Grants to Schools. $246,370 to Springfield schools from the Back to School grants program. Now that’s something to be proud of! Congratulations, Matt.
