Global Studies Director and Distinguished Professor of Political Science, Dr. Dennis Hickey, was invited to Washington DC by the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars to present his paper, “Taiwan’ Security in an Era of Uncertainty,” at the conference, “US-Taiwan Relations: Prospects for Security and Economic Ties,” on January 25.

The Wilson Center’s goal of building “a bridge between the worlds of academia and public policy” by presenting “knowledge in the public interest” matches MSU’s Public Affairs mission so it is especaily fitting for Dr. Hickey to take part in the conversation.
