After graduating from MSU in the Spring of 2016 I enrolled at the University of Alabama School of Law. I was fortunate to finish my first year of law school at the top of my class. Because of that academic success I was able to transfer to the University of Chicago Law School where I will complete my last two years of school and graduate in the Spring of 2019.
I spent this last summer interning at the Midwest Innocence Project in Kansas City, MO. It was a great experience where I was able to work on federal and state habeas cases. This upcoming summer I will be a summer associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York, NY.
While majoring in Economics was a great academic experience I really feel like the courses I took as part of the Public Law minor prepared me for success in law school. Specifically, the courses taught by Dr. Pybas were helpful. They were structured like a law school course and gave me a helpful advantage the first year of school.
