In a recent commentary in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Notre Dame Provost, Thomas G. Burish, makes a case for “Why We Should Spend More on Humanities Research in a High-Tech World.”
Dr. Burish argues that “we in academe must do a better job of articulating the intrinsic value and capacity of the humanities to address values-based policy and societal questions.”
