Because of my PLS major internship with the Springfield City Council and Mayor, Ken McClure, I was offered a position in the Springfield City Clerk’s Office. My internship supervisor was impressed with my work ethic and enthusiasm, and gave me this employment opportunity.

I primarily process contracts the city has with outside individuals and organizations. Additionally, I aid citizens who contact the City Clerk’s Office and assist in clerical duties for City Council.
