When last we saw Freddy on the blog, he had been named to The Missouri Times’ 2018 list of 30 Under 30. We are pleased to announce that he has been named Deputy City Clerk of Kirkwood, Missouri.
Doss, a founding board member of Missouri For All, will play an essential role in providing municipal services to Kirkwood residents. As a Kirkwood High School graduate, having the opportunity to serve his home town is a special opportunity.
“Kirkwood helped put me on the path to civic engagement and public service,” said Doss. “I am honored to have the chance to give back, work with dedicated public servants, and help make sure local government serves all of my neighbors.”
Doss has previously held several positions in public service. He served as a legislative director in the state capitol for five years before working as a political consultant for several candidates for elected office in 2018; including Michael Butler – Recorder of Deeds St. Louis City, LaKeySha Bosley – State Rep. 79th District – St. Louis City, and Kevin Windham – State Rep. 85th District – North St. Louis County.
Freddy is 2012 Political Science alumni, a member of the Missouri State University Alumni Council, and an Advisory Board Member for the Missouri Courage Scholarship. He earned his Master’s in Public Relations from Webster University in 2018.
