“It may be tempting to conclude that the high and rising cost of college means that obtaining a bachelor’s degree is no longer a good investment” but, in a recent post on Liberty Street Economics, Jaison R. Abel and Richard Deitz argue that “college is still a good investment.”
Abel and Deitz maintain that “while the rising cost of college may be troubling, it has not yet changed the basic calculus as to whether earning a college degree is worth it. The benefits still outweigh the costs.”
