Dr. Ismail Sari, Director of the Foreign Policy Desk at the Center for Iranian Studies in Ankara, Turkey has been a visiting scholar with the department of Political Science for several months.

Dr. Sari received his BA in the history at Istanbul University. He obtained his MA in international relations and history from Istanbul University. He received his PhD upon completion of his doctoral thesis, “Post-Revolution Iran’s Regime Paradigm and It’s Foreign Policy Trend.” He was a post-doctoral researcher at Columbia University.

Before returning for home, Dr. Sari presented a summary of his current research, “The United States Foreign Policy Toward the Kurds,” for faculty and students.
