Alexandra Sumner, a recent graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, offered some atypical reading advice for students interested in law school.
Recommendation #3 is to read a biography of a famous attorney. While there are going to be generational differences of opinion here (Clarence Darrow, Louis Nizer, etc.), we would always recommend Strong Advocate: The Life of a Trial Lawyer, by Tom Strong.
To read all of her recommendations, see National Jurist.
