Demystifying the Military-Industrial Complex

The formation and implementation of America’s national security policy is a crucial element for understand both American domestic politics and its international relations, but few without direct experience understand the complex network of institutions, processes and powers behind it, let alone the pressure and transformation policy-making has experienced since 2016.

Join us for a presentation by Dr. Jakub Wrzesniewski on January 15th in Strong Hall 300 from 3:00-5:00. Dr. Wrzesniewski will explain how the DC security apparatus works from the inside.

Dr. Wrzesniewski is a political scientist specializing in international security, political economy and political culture. He currently serves as Head of Research & Data Analytics at the Council for Logistics Research, Inc., an Arlington-based defense contractor specializing in strategic advisory and organizational support for the Department of Defense.
