2008 alumni and MPA Instructor, Garrett Tyson, is providing a webinar for the Missouri Municipal League (MML) entitled Planning and Zoning Basics: The Role of the Commission and Public Hearings.

According to the MML, “This session will cover the foundation aspects of municipal planning and zoning with an emphasis on how to effectively utilize public hearings held before the Planning Commission to achieve better outcomes. The session will also include some essential tips for crafting workable zoning regulations as well as identifying some common pitfalls to avoid.”

Garret is the Director of Economic Development for Nixa, Missouri.
