The purpose of the “Preparing for Finals” presentation is to assist students in developing an effective system to study for their classes. Many students state that they study, but few have developed a comprehensive plan.

Trending Now: Study Away Trends at Missouri State

Missouri State Study Away students have increased by 37% in the last two years, while faculty led programs have grown from 9 in 2009 to 35 for 2013. What departments send out the most students? Where are those students going? Which programs are students considering for certain regions of the world? Join Elizabeth Strong and Miko McFarland to learn interesting Study Away facts and figures, and how you can use them to maximize your advising sessions. We’ll also discuss ways to engage students in Study Away conversations during advisement, hear from former Study Away students, and provide the top ten Study Away advising tips.
Isabel’s House
The Staff Senate would like to give back to the local community during this holiday season, therefore, the Staff Senate Public Affairs committee will be collecting items to donate to Isabel’s House, Crisis Nursery of the Ozarks.
We are asking the campus community to join us in this effort by donating an item on the wish list which is located on the Staff Senate’s website.
