How Can Missouri State University be More Sustainable?
Each student, faculty and staff member has a unique perspective on what we can do to reduce the environmental impact of our University.
- Do you have an idea of how we can increase our energy efficiency or use of renewable energy?
- Can you think of a way to decrease the production of waste materials on our campus?
- Maybe you heard about a new way to encourage pro-environmental behaviors?
- Perhaps you have a suggestion for improving the health of campus ecosystems and increasing the diversity of native species?
You can submit your green idea on the sustainability website!

What is Storyboarding? And How Can it Help Me Flip My Class?
A new program begins Monday, November 17
Video content can be a critical element of flipped courses. Students watch a video and then synthesize that content with readings and other course materials. But your videos must be interesting enough to catch and hold their attention. Sarah Egan Warren from NC State University shows how storyboarding can be a tool for making better videos that are more engaging and help promote higher levels of learning.
