Request for Proposals – Public Affairs Grants Offer Faculty Extra Funding for Second Year

Missouri State faculty interested in incorporating public affairs in their classrooms have a new opportunity to receive funding this academic year. Grants of $500 will be awarded to applicants with compelling ideas or methods that advance the university’s public affairs mission. Projects eligible for grant funding include (but are not limited to):

  • Development of new public affairs courses or assignments
  • Revising current courses or assignments with an additional public affairs focus
  • Supporting collaborative review of student work in a program or department

The Office of Assessment in partnership with the Assessment Council has developed a proposal form and secured funding for a series of grants to be awarded beginning this fall. Deadlines for proposals will start Friday, October 16 and will continue until February 2016, hitting on the second Friday of each month.
