Digital Professor Academy
The Digital Professor Academy is designed to assist faculty in the development of solid pedagogical teaching practices regardless of the instructional environment. Course objectives:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the instructional design process utilizing the concept of Backwards Design to develop an instructional plan for their course.
- Assess and analyze current course objectives to ensure that they are measurable and aligned with the course outcomes.
- Analyze various assessment practices in order to determine that the assessments are aligned with course objectives and are appropriate measures of outcomes.
- Understand the value of building learning communities and develop strategies for developing community within the classroom.
