Our campus moved to Blackboard Learn 9.1 in 2010, and since that time, every course site has been held on the main server. The Learning Management Advisory Committee was asked to gather input from faculty and students and develop a course lifecycle recommendation in order to reduce the clutter and facilitate efficient use of storage space. Beginning in December, 2016, courses 3 years and older will be purged by Computer Services at the end of each semester. Faculty can request both early purges for courses at least one year old and exceptions to the routine purge. Instructions for making requests and developing personal archives of courses will be provided by Computer Services on Blackboard and in other locations. Questions can be directed to the Help Desk.
