You are invited to participate in the Spring 2017 commencement ceremony to be held on Friday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in JQH Arena. In order to facilitate your participation, the University will assume the cost of renting your gown. Our contract allows each participant to keep his or her cap and hood for use in future commencement ceremonies.
If you plan to participate in the Spring 2017 commencement, please complete and return the faculty regalia order form. However, if you own your own regalia, please reply to Karen Foster and indicate which ceremony you will be participating in so she may have an accurate headcount. The form can be found on the Commencement website.
You can send your completed form by campus mail, email (reply to Karen Foster in Plaster Student Union Administration office) or it can be faxed to 836-5117. You will receive a confirmation via email from Karen Foster or one of the staff in the PSU office.
The deadline for ordering faculty regalia is Tuesday, March 21. We cannot process late requests. If you have questions, please call Karen Foster (Ext. 6-5886).
Regalia will be available for pick up at Maroon Nation (formerly “It’s A Greek Thing”) beginning Monday, May 15 through Wednesday, May 17. If this is not convenient, you may pick up on Friday at the south doors of Hammons Student Center (racquetball courts) where the faculty will meet to line up.
