Order deadline is Friday, June 30

You are invited to participate in the Summer 2017 commencement ceremony to be held on Friday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m. in JQH Arena. In order to facilitate your participation, the University will assume the cost of renting your gown. Our contract allows each participant to keep his or her cap and hood for use in future commencement ceremonies.

If you plan to participate in the Summer 2017 commencement, please complete and return the faculty regalia order form. (Note: form will work correctly with all browsers except Firefox). However, if you own your regalia and will be participating, please send a note to Karen Foster.

We would also like to invite you to hold onto your regalia and attend the New Student Convocation Sunday, August 20, 2:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. in the JQH Arena. If you cannot attend the summer commencement, you are welcome to attend just the convocation. If you need regalia for New Student Convocation, please fill out the same form as for summer commencement. Send your completed form to Karen Foster by campus mail, email, or fax it to 836-5886.

The deadline for ordering faculty regalia is Friday, June 30. It is difficult to process late requests. If you have questions, please contact Karen Foster (ext. 6-5886).

The line-up for both events is located in Hammons Student Center south entrance. Please plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event. You may pick up your regalia during commencement week, Monday–Wednesday, at Maroon Nation (9 a.m.–4 p.m.) in the Plaster Student Union; or your regalia will be available at the south entrance, the day of both events.
