Advising International Students Workshop

Presenter: Patrick Parnell, Director of International Services, and the IS staff

This three-hour workshop will equip advisors to effectively assist this unique population by providing information on the nuts and bolts of immigration, as well as enhancing cultural awareness through presentations and a panel discussion. Opportunity for group participation and discussion will be provided.

Master Advisor Refresher Workshops

Time: 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

This session is designed for master advisors whose certification has lapsed or those who wish to fulfill certification for the year with one session. The focus of these workshops will be on changes at MSU as well as advanced advising practices. Core 42 advising will be a major area of focus.
