October 3, 2019 by Chuck Busby

As of September 30, the MSU testing center is a certified testing center for the National Center for Competency Testing. The NCCT is an independent credentialing organization for healthcare professionals and instructors throughout the United States, including:

  • Medical Assistant (NCMA)
  • Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA)
  • ECG Technician (NCET)
  • Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT)
  • Tech in Surgery – Certified (NCCT)
  • Insurance and Coding Specialist (NCICS)
  • Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
  • Certified Postsecondary Instructor (CPI)

In addition, the MSU testing center added the National Testing Network in July, which offers professional certification exams used for hiring and promotion purposes by police, fire, and emergency services personnel. MSU is the only testing center in the entire state to offer the National Testing Network exams.
