Depending on technology during COVID-19

March 25, 2021 by Chuck Busby

Missouri State University Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning
It seems we are more dependent on technology than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic. We wanted to remind everyone to keep your devices and software up to date. This includes any communication tools like email, internet browsers, conferencing tools, and more. The following links provide information on how to update specific programs or services:

  • Check your home broadband speed
  • Updating Zoom
  • How to run updates and install patches for Respondus LockDown browser

In addition, you can share this information with students (it is also located in the Syllabus Template on the Syllabi Policy Statements website).

Computer Requirements:

For information on the basic computer requirements to be successful in class visit the Knowledge Base for Computer Requirements on the Missouri State University website.
