The FCTL Advisory Council is proud to announce that James M. Lang, PhD will be this year’s keynote speaker. Dr. Lang is the author of six books and writes a monthly column on teaching and learning in The Chronicle of Higher Education.

The keynote, Small Teaching: Content, Connection, Inspiration will be an interactive lecture offering practical suggestions for how to foster positive change in higher education teaching and learning.

All registrants will receive a copy of Dr. Lang’s book, Small Teaching: Everyday Lessons from the Science of Learning.

Who’s going to be at Showcase this year?

Tracy Stout and Chris Craig recently participated in the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Institute on Open Educational Resources (OER). The session, Expanding OER Initiatives: Lessons Learned from the AAC&U Institute on OER, will present goals, strategies, and how you can get involved in the use of OERs at Missouri State.

All faculty sessions are scheduled for 8 – 11:30 am. during Showcase.
