Brightspace Open Labs

Location: Meyer Library, Room 206

Have questions about Brightspace? The FCTL is hosting a series of open labs devoted to answering questions and assisting with issues you may be having with migrated content, building new content, or navigating Brightspace. The labs will be BYOD or Bring Your Own Device sessions.

The FCTL is hosting an opportunity for faculty to engage in cross-disciplinary discussions around teaching and learning with generative AI. Register through My Learning Connection.

Teaching Academy for early career faculty

Dates: Dec 1
Times: 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location: Meyer Library, Room 206

The Teaching Academy provides information and resources to support your teaching success at MSU. The Teaching Academy includes four 2-hour sessions where content will be delivered through modeling of best practices and the use of effective adult learning theories, such as discussion, real-life application, and critical reflection. This is a great opportunity for networking with other early career faculty members, and participants attending all sessions will receive a certificate of completion, which can be included in the professional dossier.
