On January 24 and January 30, Missouri State faculty, staff and students are encouraged to participate in the testing and selection process for a new student success system. The goal is to find a platform that will provide a campus-wide, early alert system for students who show signs of struggling and may be at risk of dropping out.
Dr. Kelly Wood, associate vice president for student success, is leading the effort to find the right fit for our campus. “The goal of a student success platform is to provide actionable information to faculty and advisors about their students so that we can offer the right services and support when they need it,” Wood says.
Help Test the Proposed Systems
Two vendors who are under consideration are invited to campus to provide interactive demonstrations of their systems. “The more input and ideas we receive during and after the campus demonstrations, the better choice we will make,” Wood says.
Participants may attend one or several sessions. To form the most accurate assessment, it will be most useful to attend at least one session for each vendor.
