As the end of spring semester approaches, we know you’ve got a lot on your plate. Chances are, your calendar has the Bear minimum of availability. Your inbox may feel like quite a burden to Bear. So if you’re thinking it’s a great time to push “paws,” you’re right on the honey.

We hope you’ll mark your calendar for the All-Faculty Reception on May 4. It’s got all the things — hors d’oeuvres, slides, the PSU ballroom. Most importantly, it’s a moment to relax and celebrate what we’ve ac-claw-mplished this year.

We believe you deserve better, and we’ve asked Teri Trickey, director of catering, to wow us. We can Bear-ly wait to taste what her team cooks up for the All-Faculty Reception.

3. New surprises

Be pre-Beared: We’re working on an amped-up pre-show, with growl-outs for faculty whose applications for tenure and/or promotion were approved and those celebrating major Marooniversaries, plus recognition of how you all live our mission.
