We recently chatted with Dr. Letitia White-Minnis, associate dean of the McQueary College of Health and Human Services, about an upcoming change to the interface of Faculty Success.
What to Know About the Update
- There are no changes to the content or functionality of Faculty Success. The process you use to submit tenure, promotion and annual review materials will remain the same.
- But the user interface—the way Faculty Success looks—will change.
- These changes are rolling out from Watermark, the company behind Faculty Success. They will go into effect for everyone on July 1.
- The new interface was developed with user input, with the goal of delivering a better experience.
- You can find more information in this article from Watermark.

White-Minnis led the transition to Faculty Success, with the goal of establishing a more streamlined, less cumbersome review process—for faculty and reviewers. Now that the process is established, oversight for Faculty Success will reside with the office of the provost.
However, if you have questions about using Faculty Success, you may wish to reach out to the point of contact in your college. They’re experts on the system, and they’re available to assist colleagues.

Around Town…
Leadership Springfield recently announced the members of its Signature Class 51 and Signature Class 52, and two names from Mo State are on the list. Brandon Lentz, instructor in the marketing department, and Katie Young, assistant director of student employment, will take part in a nine-month program designed to deepen their understanding of our community.
The annual Signature Class selection process is conducted through an anonymous board review, with classes intentionally built to reflect the Springfield metro area. This year marks Leadership Springfield’s 40th anniversary.
Carrie Richardson, executive director of Leadership Springfield, says, “Every year, the strength of our applicant pool reminds us how much talent exists in this community. Welcoming two new classes in our 40th anniversary year feels especially meaningful. More than 3,700 individuals have come through our programs and gone on to shape this community, and we are excited to see what this group of leaders will do with the connections and experiences ahead.”
