As you can probably tell, this article is dedicated to getting to know a little bit about out new members! In all we have 9 new members, all of whom we are honored to have as a part of our family! They are all amazing people from different walks of life. We look forward to seeing them grow as leaders and as people. Here is a little background on all of them!
R.E.A.L. Bear: Tylyn Anders

Hometown: Chicago, Illinois
Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Tylyn joined R.E.A.L. Bears because she was excited about getting involved in the numerous service projects we complete each year. Tylyn believes that volunteering is a great way to help the community and create lasting relationships and memories.
R.E.A.L. Bear: Margaret Hanneken

Major: Athletic training

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Margaret was attracted to the philanthropy side of R.E.A.L. Bears. Margaret loves being involved with the community, and she is proud to be part of a unique organization like ours.

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Sarah chose to join R.E.A.L. Bears because she wanted to get involved with the University, and she believed that interacting with our alumni would be a great way to do that.
R.E.A.L. Bear: Ali Jemes

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Ali wanted to be more involved on campus and thought a service organization like ours would be the perfect way to do that. Ali is also looking forward to participating in the networking opportunities we offer and meeting new people.
R.E.A.L. Bear: Ryan Matthews

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Ryan chose R.E.A.L. Bears so that he could work closely with his mother, a proud Missouri State alumna, who is actively involved with the University. Ryan has obviously been around the University for most of his life, and he loves the way the school is involved with the community. As a R.E.A.L. Bear, Ryan hopes to help expand that relationship.

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Olivia joined us because she like the fact that we, as an organization, get to do something most students don’t: work and communicate with alumni. She believes the networking aspect of R.E.A.L. Bears will help her during her collegiate career and in the future. She also looks forward to participating in service projects.

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Holly was interested in joining us because it seemed beneficial to her as both a college student and as a future alumna. She feels communicating with a variety of alumni will give her a wide range of knowledge in things that are relevant to her both now and in the future.

Why R.E.A.L. Bears: Kaleigh was interested in expanding her leadership skills and believed our organization would help her do that. She has a drive to learn all she can to be a great leader, and she is looking forward to volunteering and networking. She believes R.E.A.L. Bears will help her figure out what she wants to do with her college career.
