Dr. Mark Given, Religious Studies professor and expert in New Testament and Paul studies, will participate in a panel presentation and discussion at South Street Christian Church, 500 South Avenue, on Tuesday, 2 October, at 7:00 p.m. He will be joined by David Hockensmith and Mark Struckoff (former and current directors of the Council of Churches), and Romona Baker (Resource Coordinator for Homeless Services).

The evening begins with a showing of the new film, “The Line,” a documentary chronicling the new face of poverty in America by Emmy Award-winning producer Linda Midgett.  The film documents the stories of people across the country living at or below the poverty line.
