Save the date! On 26 February at 7:00 p.m. in Carrington 208 we are hosting a free public lecture with Eva Mozes Kor, “Forgiving Dr. Mengele.”
Eva Mozes Kor was just ten years old when she and her twin sister, Miriam, arrived in Auschwitz and were herded into the sadistic care of the man known as the Angel of Death, Dr. Josef Mengele.
Ms. Kor will talk about her experiences in Auschwitz, but also her recovery and her remarkable decision to publicly forgive the Nazis. Through her museum (www.candlesholocaustmuseum.org) and her lectures, she has dedicated her life to giving testimony on the Holocaust, providing a message of hope for people who have suffered, and working for causes of human rights and peace.
