Members of the MSU and Springfield communities attending the panel on Anti-Semitism in the PSU Wednesday evening.

There was a large turnout from both the MSU campus and the Springfield communities at the Anti-Semitism Panel last evening, Wednesday, 28 November, in the PSU.  Three panelists, Mara Cohen-Ioannides from the English Department, Wes Pratt from the Division for Diversity and Inclusion, and Rabbi Barbara Block from Temple Israel provided remarks while our very own Dr. Vadim Putzu hosted. Dr. Putzu took the opportunity to talk about his spring 2019 course, Judaism (REL 330-001), and the Religious Studies department’s new Interfaith Engagement Certificate.

There were a number of questions from the audience and a call to action voiced by multiple parties. Accordingly, we intend this to be the beginning of a conversation and have already lined up a number of initiatives for next semester.

Thank you to the three panelists and to all who attended!
