Two individuals suffered gun shots early this morning at the Kum and Go, which is located at the corner of Kimbrough Avenue and Elm Street. This is near the northwest corner of campus across from University Safety/Campus Substation. Here is the story on Ozarks First. University Safety has been in contact with the Springfield Police Department. There is not an ongoing threat to the campus or broader community. Both individuals were part of the same group and neither individual was affiliated with campus. Additional details will be provided as they come available.
