The Student Exhibition Center’s spring 2016 opening exhibit will feature works in printmaking and ceramics created by art and design students. The Printmaking and Ceramics Students’ Biennial Exhibition will be on display from Jan. 19 to Feb. 13. The First Friday Art Walk reception will be held from 6-10 p.m. on Feb. 5.

MSU Department of Art+Design: Foundations Exhibit
April 1-22
The Foundations Exhibit is one of the most interesting exhibits held at the SEC. Beginning level classes show projects that have been assigned to them to demonstrate the students’ understanding of various artistic concepts in two- and three-dimensional design and drawing.
MSU BFA in Design Senior Professional Practicum Final Projects
April 29-May 13
The final project of the design practicum is based on the student’s ability to define and select a problem of visual communication that requires the work of a design and/or illustrator. The process of design continues to be the emphasis of this problem, as well as visually organizing that process for presentation. Students are encouraged to work with community nonprofit organizations.
