The Student Exhibition Center’s annual spring exhibition program kicked off with the Foundations exhibition, followed by the Biennial Printmaking + Ceramics Exhibition. The Spring 2020 schedule also featured an exceptional traveling juried jewelry + metals exhibition, however as we did our part to keep the Missouri State campus and Springfield community safe during the pandemic, the SEC transitioned to virtual exhibitions.
Foundations Exhibition
January 27 – February 14
A delightfully, whimsy collection of work from the department’s foundations courses demonstrating student’s understanding of various artistic concepts in two and three-dimensional design, as well as drawing.
Printmaking + Ceramics
March 2 – 25
A dynamic collection of printmaking and ceramic work ranging from all levels of undergraduate and graduate study.
micro/MACRO
Virtual
micro/MACRO is a traveling intercollegiate jewelry + metals exhibition highlighting student and faculty work from ten academic institutions in and around the Midwest. Many thanks to all of the participating institutions for their enthusiasm and support for exhibiting their work virtually. You can experience micro/MACRO virtually here: https://art-design.missouristate.edu/exhibit/sec/
Design Practicum
Virtual
While we missed celebrating traditionally with our graduating BFA in Design seniors, we hope to properly celebrate them soon. The virtual exhibition can be experienced here:
