Dr. Mary Willis, Head of Sociology and Anthropology, worked tirelessly with these diligent, bright, and hard-working students to assure they each received a Gilman Scholarship for a life-changing adventure in Africa in the Education Abroad program!  I will be sharing photos of their trip, as we are voyeuristically enjoying the trip with them.  Our BEARS put so much effort into this excursion and research experience effort to expand their world and open their minds to a different and beautiful culture.

Leaving Kansas City yesterday, connecting in Chicago, they arrived in Qatar at the Hamad International Airport today and then will arrive in Zambia a few hours from now.  I will share their sights and insights as the photos come to America, such as the images of art below.
