Congratulations to Meghan Mulloy for successfully defending her thesis yesterday in front of peers, faculty, and her committee.
Meghan’s thesis title was titled ‘Investigating the Functional Position of Field Hockey Players Using the FMS and the FHFPS’. The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and the Field Hockey Functional Position Screen (FHFPS) were the two established screening methods she chose to use with with group of injured field hockey athletes in her survey. Meghan’s thesis committee included Sports Medicine and Athletic Training (SMAT) department faculty Dr. Tona Hetzler (thesis chair), Dr. Allan Liggett, and Mercy HealthTrack clinic manager, Brandon Hetzler.
Please join the department in congratulating Meghan for a job well done!
