After graduating from MSU in 2013, Alanna worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Central Methodist University (CMU) in Fayette, Missouri for 2 years, while earning her Master of Education. She remained at CMU for another 3 years as an Assistant Professor in the Athletic Training Program and also taught courses in physical education. In the fall of 2018, Alanna moved to Bismarck, North Dakota, where she is currently an Assistant Professor and the Curriculum Coordinator in the Athletic Training and Kinesiology department at the University of Mary, teaching courses in the bachelors of athletic training, bachelors of biomechanics and master of kinesiology programs. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Athletic Training program at A.T. Still University, anticipating completion in Spring 2020.
