BSAT student’s willingness to learn more in-depth, evidence-based approaches in patient care leads her to London

January 29, 2019 by Caryn Cook

Kirstin Schwart went to London, England for a week to attend the International Sports Science Medical Conference: Diagnosis, Management and Rehabilitation of Injuries in Elite Upper Extremity Athletes. During her trip not only was she able to meet and learn from professionals in the top of their career, but she was also able to spend a few days exploring historical sites and famous attractions in London. Throughout the conference, she met students and health professionals from the United States and England and also had the opportunity to meet with the NATA president and the president of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society. It was an unforgettable experience that she was able to have, and she hopes to return to London in the future.
