BEARFEST VILLAGE!!!

Frequently Asked Questions.HOW DO I GET TO BEARFEST VILLAGE? Traveling North on National Avenue (From National and Battlefield) • Turn left on East Grand Street • Turn right on South John Q. Hammons Parkway • Turn right into BearFest Village entrance (South of Meyer Library- Attendants will direct traffic) Traveling South on National Avenue (From National and Chestnut) • Turn right on Grand Street • Turn right on South John Q. Hammons Parkway • Turn right into BearFest Village entrance (South of Meyer Library- Attendants will direct traffic). WHERE CAN I PARK? After dropping your items at BearFest Village, you may park in the lots south of Grand Street. Lots 18, 19, 24, Bear Park North and Bear Park South are public parking. Lot 22 is reserved for season ticket holders and Bears Fund members. WHAT CAN I BRING WITH ME? Those tailgating in BearFest Village are welcome to bring their own coolers, grills, games, etc. Glass is prohibited. CAN I BRING IN OUTSIDE CATERING? Yes. Please place that information on your BearFest Village registration form for approval. Any catering provided by an outside source should be in disposable containers. HOW DO I SET-UP AND TEAR-DOWN MY TAILGATE AREA? • Set up begins five hours prior to kick-off. • BearFest Village opens three hours before game time. After this time, no vehicles will be allowed in BearFest Village. • One vehicle per tailgate/group will be allowed to enter and drop off supplies. • Each vehicle will have no more than 15 minutes to unload. • Once the first quarter has finished, tailgaters will be permitted to enter BearFest Village and retrieve their items until the end of halftime (cars will be allowed access in the same manner as for setup). • Once halftime has ended, items may be removed and cars will have access again, beginning 30 minutes following the conclusion of the game. • It is recommended that tailgaters bring a small wagon or dolly if they wish to get their items out before the first quarter conclusion. Missouri State is not responsible for any lost or stolen items left unattended. WHAT IF I NEED ELECTRICITY? Electricity access is available. Please indicate your needs on the BearFest Village registration form. Additional charges apply. CAN I TAILGATE DURING THE GAME? No. BearFest Village will close at KICK OFF of each game. All alcohol consumption must end at that time.WHERE CAN I FIND MORE INFORMATION? More information may be found at the Guest Services Kiosk, located northwest of the stadium between McDonald Arena and Meyer Library, as well as online at www. MissouriStateBears.com/ot/tailgate.html CAN I BRING ALCOHOL TO MY TAILGATE? Please refer to the to the Missouri State University alcohol policy www.missouristate. edu/alcoholpolicy. No hard alcohol is permitted. CAN I SELL ITEMS AT MY TAILGATE AREA? No. The sale of items in BearFest Village is expressly prohibited without the written consent of Missouri State University and Missouri State Sports Properties. THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED IN BEARFEST VILLAGE: • Glass • Tobacco/smoking • Hard liquor • Drinking games WHERE CAN I SERVE ALCOHOL? Alcohol service and consumption is permitted in the BearFest Village area for persons ages 21 and over, consistent with the Missouri State University Alcohol Policy. Alcohol is not permitted beyond the perimeter of BearFest Village.
