Five students from the Latino Leadership Institute, Division of Student Affairs – Multicultural Services were the inaugural study away pilot group that visited Mexico City June 1-6, 2015. Participants included: Assistant Vice President Juan Meraz, David Valenciano (back row), Diana Dominguez, Karen Quinones, Catalina Salas, and Whitney Cisneros (front row). The students participated in a psychology class, a pedagogy class and an education class with students from Universidad Latina or UNILA at 3 different campuses in Mexico as well as touring Mexico City, the pyramids at Teotihuacan, Cuernavaca, Chapultepec Castle, Hernan Cortez’s Castle, the Diego Rivera Museum, the Frida Kahlo Museum and much more.
