The Dean of Students Office is excited to share with the University a new initiative in partnership with the Springfield Bar Association and the Student Government Association. The “Bearisters” program is a free legal service offering legal consultation and referral for all Missouri State University students. This service is provided by volunteer members of the Springfield Bar Association. Clients must be current MSU students with their M#. Students interested in meeting with a “Bearister” can make an appointment by contacting the Dean of Students Office at (417) 836-5527. Bearisters are taking appointments on Mondays from 3-5pm, Wednesdays from 8-10am, and Thursdays from 3-5pm. Students are asked to call one weekday ahead to schedule an appointment for the next business day. Please contact the Dean of Students Office with any questions.
