Today our very own Priscilla Childress, Assistant Director Family Programs and Student Affairs Special Events, raced Carmelita Jeter, the “Fastest Woman Alive,” three-time Olympic medalist and a member of the track and field coaching staff here at Missouri State University. The race was organized to raise money for the Ursa Experience, a program that immerses students into the life at Missouri State University. Over the last five years more than 300 students have attended the Ursa Experience and have experienced success with their involvement on campus and in the classroom. This summer the Ursa Experience will see a new group of students that will begin their journey here at Missouri State. You can support students here on campus by making a gift contribution to the Ursa Experience by contacting Missouri State.
