It’s March, and finally starting to show small signs of spring, with warmer weather sure to follow. March will be an exciting month for the Office of Student Conduct with the start of the inaugural Paws Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to motivate the campus to pause, and take the time to learn about how we can all increase civility.
We are excited to be partnering with others on campus to bring the topic of civility to the forefront of discussion. Among our partners for this effort are Public Affairs, Green Dot, Partners in Prevention, and University Safety. The goal this month is to educate as many students as we can on topics of civility, and inspire others to share those positive themes with others. Whether that is saying hello to a fellow classmate, or holding the door for another, the possibilities for displaying an understanding of civility are endless! Learn more here: bit.ly/2IgaDva
