I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Rabekah D. Stewart has been appointed the new Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs- Multicultural Services. She will assume these new responsibilities on September 1st, 2020!
Dr. Stewart has served Missouri State University as the Executive Director of TRIO Programs since 2016. Prior to joining MSU, Dr. Stewart was the Program Director of TRIO Upward Bound at the Ohio State University, the Upward Bound Academic & Career Education Coordinator at Wittenberg University and the APEX GEAR UP Educational Advisor at the University of Kansas. Dr. Stewart has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member at MSU and Clark State Community College as well as a high school English Teacher at various locations. Throughout her tenure in higher education she has conducted numerous presentations and workshops in the local, regional and national arena. She is actively involved in our profession and even serves as the President of the Educational Opportunity Association (EOA). Dr. Stewart is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
