- An Evening to Celebrate our Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) Graduates – Join us for the SAHE Cohort 13 Hooding Ceremony on Tuesday, May 11th at 6pm in the Plaster Student Union Ballroom. Special remarks will be presented by Dr. Susan Komives. Physical distancing and masks will be required. Find more information here.
- Multicultural Services Graduation Reception – You are invited to the Multicultural Services Graduation Reception on Wednesday, May 12th from 6-8pm in the PSU Ballroom West. Join us as we celebrate our graduates and their successes. Find more information here.
- Board of Governors Meeting – The Board of Governors Meeting will take place Thursday, May 13th, 8:30am-1:00pm via Zoom. To see the agenda, visit https://www.missouristate.edu/BOG/Agendas/.
- Spring 2021 Commencement – Spring Commencement will take place Thursday, May 13th and Friday, May 14th at JQH Arena. Each ceremony will be capped at 750 graduates. Each graduate can invite up to 4 guests. Guests will not require a ticket to enter JQH Arena, nor will they need to RSVP. These limits are based on JQH Arena capacity with current COVID-19 restrictions in place. We’re asking graduates to follow these rules so everyone has the chance to celebrate with their guests. - Open forums for Associate Director of the Disability Resource Center- Access Technology – Student Affairs is happy to announce two candidates will be interviewing for Associate Director of the Disability Resource Center-Access Technology Center. Each candidate will give a presentation about the DRC/ATC and accessibility during an open forum.
Candidate Tammy Casey – Please join us for a presentation by Tammy Casey for the Associate Director of the Disability Resource Center-Access Technology Center. Ms. Casey has been responsible for providing accommodations to clients at the Missouri Job Centers as a Workforce Development Specialist for 11 years and has worked for the City of Springfield for 16 years. Prior to that she served as a Community Support Worker for Burrell and an Employment Specialist for Vail Place. Ms. Casey obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Cloud State University.

Candidate Teagan Woodward – Please join us for a presentation by Teagan Woodward for the Associate Director of the Disability Resource Center-Access Technology Center. Ms. Woodward has been a Special Education Teacher in Mississippi for seven years. Prior to that she served as a Deaf Educator for three years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Missouri State University, master’s degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Missouri State University, and master’s in Specialist Education Administration from Mississippi State University. She also has certifications in teaching for deaf and hard of hearing, mild/moderate disabilities, and non-practicing administration.
