- Nominate a student for the Citizen Scholar Award – The Citizen Scholar Award was initiated in 2007 as a special Board of Governors program to recognize outstanding citizen scholars at Missouri State University. Eighty-three (83) students since 2007 have been recognized for their stellar achievements with academics, community engagement and leadership. Citizen Scholar nominations may be made by Missouri State University faculty and staff members each fall. The deadline to nominate a student is Thursday, September 9th. - The Union Club is Open – The Union Club is open again, and is ready for you to welcome you back! The hours are 11am -1pm, Monday – Friday! Located on the 4th floor of the Plaster Student Union, you can enjoy a wonderful meal which includes soup and salad, an entree, sides plus delectable desserts! - Assistant Vice President-Student Affairs/Dean of Students Interviews – The Division of Student Affairs is thrilled to announce five candidates who will be interviewing for the Assistant Vice President Student Affairs/Dean of Students position. - Missouri State University is a NASPA Institutional Member—this means that any full-time professional staff members at MSU qualifies for the highly subsidized individual professional affiliate membership annual rate of $75. - MSU celebrates Latinx Heritage Month – Immerse yourself in Latinx culture throughout September by attending events hosted by Multicultural Programs.
