1. It’s Homecoming Week! Join all the exciting festivities taking place this week around campus. Events include the Band of Bears Homecoming Parade, Breakfast with Boomer, BearFest Village Tailgating, and so much more. Check out the Homecoming banners and painted windows in the PSU, all created by members of our student organizations. You’ll see the Homecoming King and Queen candidates across campus this week participating in events such as Can We Build It, a philanthropy event that benefits the Bear Pantry and Ozark Food Harvest. https://alumni.missouristate.edu/homecoming/
2. Join the Celebration for Onward Upward – You helped Missouri State Move Onward and Upward. Now it’s time to celebrate! Join the celebration on Saturday, October 29th, Great Southern Bank Arena, 7pm. The celebration will be hosted by John Goodman. 3. MSU Wellness and Benefits Fair – The MSU Wellness & Benefits Fair will be Wednesday, October 26 from 11am -3pm in the PSU Ballroom. Join Magers Health and Wellness there to learn more about wellness resources both on and off campus. There will be opportunities to visit with various wellness related booths and be entered in to win prizes. Open to students and employees.
4. Bookstore welcomes author and professor Annie England Noblin back to Campus – The Bookstore will be hosting Annie England Noblin on October 29th from 9 am – 3pm. Annie graduated from MSU with a Master’s in creative writing and was a former Bookstore student employee. She is a very successful author and teaches English and communication at Arkansas State University. Annie will be signing her newest book, Christmas in Blue Dog Valley, on Homecoming. The Bookstore will also have a few select other titles of her’s available too. We would like to invite Student Affairs, their families and friends to come out to help us welcome Annie home. 6. United Way Campaign 2022-2023 – Missouri State University faculty, staff and retirees have rallied together every year for decades to contribute to the United Way of the Ozarks (UWO.)
